Hey, beautiful! I'm Nel Griffin, Licensed Esthetician and founder of BarewithNel Waxing Studio located in Alexandria, Virginia.
I know waxing can seem a little overwhelming, so I created a space where you can relax, feel comfortable, and leave feeling more confident than when you walked in. My daily goal is to provide quality body waxing services while making you feel seen, supported, and cared for.
Whether you’re a first-time waxer or one of my loyal regulars, I love helping women be consistent in their skin care journey through a personalized “glow-up” experience that's all about you.

HOW IT WORKS
Memberships are billed automatically each month on your sign-up date, regardless of appointment attendance
A 6-month commitment is required. No pauses, skips, or refunds.
This is a service-based membership. Unused services will roll over and must be redeemed as the full combo after the 6-month term is complete.
Membership visits cannot be split into individual services

BarewithNel Waxing Studio is located at 1727 King Street, Suite 105 in Alexandria, Virginia.
There is limited complimentary parking in front of building. Off-street metered parking is located on Preston Street.

I totally understand things happen. With each appointment, a confirmation text and email (if opted in) are sent 48 hours in advance. Reminders are also sent 1 hour prior to your appointment to ensure you have enough time to get to your appointment.
All BarewithNel guests are granted a 10-minute grace period. Please contact me if you are running late, so that I can accommodate you. As a note, if I’m fully booked, you will need to reschedule for a different day.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your session time may be shortened or canceled. You still will be responsible for the full service cost.

For cancellations, a 24-hour notice before your scheduled appointment time is required.
Same-day cancellations and appointment changes (time or service adjustments) will have an additional $15 fee included in your balance, which must be paid before your next appointment.
If you cancel or reschedule the same day, a new $15 deposit is required to rebook and hold your appointment.

Clients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice will be considered a no-show. No-shows will be charged a $15 rebooking fee added to your account, due by your next appointment.
Multiple (repeat) no-shows may require full prepayment for future appointments or may result in refusal of future bookings.

Yes, there is a $15 deposit is required to secure all appointments.
Deposits are non-refundable, but if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice, you may transfer your deposit one time to a new appointment without penalty. If you cancel a second time, a new $15 deposit fee will be required.

That truly depends on the area that is being waxed. After your service, I will assess and recommend your next appointment date.
In general, I recommend for the body getting waxed every 4-6 weeks. For the facial area, I recommend every 2-3 weeks.
